The grapes come from clay-limestone vineyards along the banks of the Garonne, worked by vines averaging thirty years of age, and are vinified by the Sichel team with the same care given to their Graves and Pessac-Léognan wines. Around a fifth of the blend ferments in new oak before ageing on the fine lees, which is where its quiet richness comes from.
