Hope you and Mrs Claus are well and that you had a good year. I don't know about you but this year has just flown by and can't believe I'm writing to you already!
As always I have a long list of gifts to get so a trip to the Wine Shop is needed. I need to get Secret Santas, main gifts, find the perfect wines for Christmas Day along with a cheeky tipple for the Christmas trifle.
The Wine Shop has a new website which makes life so much easier to start choosing wine, ordering for local home delivery as well as sending gifts across the country.
Lets start with my Secret Santa for work where the budget is no more than £20 and I've got the boss lady so need to make a good impression. I know she likes chocolate so thinking the Mozart Trio Liqueur set would hit the spot at £16.99.
My brother in law is a lucky chap being with my sister, so he definitely needs a bottle of Lucky Sod £24.99 delicious toffee caramel Irish whisky. My nieces love their cocktails so these will make a great addition, the ready made Coppa Cocktails £16.99, Espresso Martini for Ellie as she loves coffee and Passion Fruit Martini for Rhianna and Rebekah perfect as they get ready for a night out.
We normally see cousins Jess and Charlie but not this year. They love their fizz, so I'll get the Wine Shop to post the six bottle Italian Fizz case at £59.99 direct to them.
We do have a full house coming and with so many personalities and tastes it'll be another comical Christmas! This year Uncle Peter is coming and has already put in request for a sherry trifle. The Bardadillo Cream Sherry£13.99 is what we need and I don't mind a tipple either, so thanks Uncle Peter.
Great Auntie Mord is due to visit, how she keeps going I don't know, maybe its the fortification in the Port. The Wine Shop had two Port tastings this year and the Barao de Villar 10 year old Tawny was the top Port on both nights so that's a must!
Now lets talk wine, we need a wide range to suit everyones taste, so the twelve bottle Christmas Wine and Bubbles Case case £159 is perfect. I think we need to make sure we have plenty of wine so definitely going for theDecember Bakers Dozen £115. That way we have everyone covered, especially me
to get through this year.
Don't forget The Norfolk Nog for Mrs Santa, you know she loves a tipple while you are out delivering Christmas Eve.
