This winery has a fascinating history, once under the leadership of the formidable Lady Giovanna Cortese, a matriarch who cared deeply for the land. When she could no longer manage the vineyard, she entrusted it to husband-and-wife duo Stefano and Marina. With their commitment to organic viticulture and low-intervention winemaking, they have brought new life to the estate, producing wines that truly capture the essence of Sicily.
Their approach to winemaking is all about respecting nature, ensuring that the natural flavours of the grapes and the land shine through. You can taste the vibrancy of the island in each bottle, with every sip offering a glimpse of Sicily’s rich heritage.
