Role Overview:

We are looking for a reliable and organised Stock Coordinator & Delivery Driver to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth deliveries to our trade customers, which include restaurants and bars, as well as private home addresses. Additionally, the role involves warehouse and stock management, fulfilling postal orders and ensuring stock is made available to fulfil retail and online orders efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Duties:

  • Safely and efficiently deliver orders to trade customers (restaurants, bars) and private home addresses in the local area.
  • Maintain excellent customer service while representing the company during deliveries.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders, organising schedules and routes.
  • Handle orders with care to prevent damage during transport.
  • Collect empty packaging or returns where required.
  • Keep the delivery vehicle clean, fuelled, and topped up with screen wash.

Stock & Warehouse Management:

  • Manage stock levels for retail, trade, and online orders, ensuring accurate stock control.
  • Conduct regular stock takes and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Ensure retail store stock is replenished as required.
  • Prepare and pack online orders, ensuring correct packing materials and safe transportation.
  • Organise deliveries of online orders to local collection points.
  • Maintain warehouse organisation, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams regarding stock requirements and deliveries.

Hours:

The approximate weekly hours are 14-21 per week, spread over two or three days. Although this will vary with the season, you can typically expect an increase in hours during the busy Christmas period from November through December.  We aim to be flexible to suit both you and the needs of the business.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence with a clean record.
  • Previous experience in a delivery or stock management role is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of the local area and ability to organise schedules and routes.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift (wine is heavy) and carry stock safely.
  • An interest in wine or a willingness to learn would be advantageous.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
