False Bay 'Slow' Chenin Blanc is bursting with ripe citrus and green plum, layered with lightly bready aromas and delicate hints of dried herbs like fennel and aniseed. On the palate, zesty fruit is beautifully balanced by a creamy lemon character, taut acidity, and a long, textural finish—thanks to its slow, wild yeast fermentation and extended lees ageing.

Crafted with Patience & Tradition

This Chenin Blanc is made the wild way—using old bush vine fruit, naturally occurring yeasts, and a slow fermentation process that allows the wine to evolve harmoniously. The grapes, sourced from old Swartland vines, offer concentrated flavours and retain bright acidity despite the warmer climate. Made by Waterkloof’s talented Cellarmaster, Nadia Barnard, the wine spends at least ten months on lees for added texture and complexity. Sustainably farmed, naturally crafted, and completely vegan-friendly.
