About this wine

A Late Bottled Vintage with Artistic Flair

This beautifully crafted LBV from Barao de Vilar brings together rich Douro fruit, classic Port depth and the charm of a hand-painted bottle. Silky black fruit, cocoa and warm spice unfold with generous intensity, making it a standout choice for sharing, gifting or savouring on special occasions.

Matured longer than a standard vintage release, it carries a refined structure and a smooth, warming finish, offering superb value and character. Whether served alongside cheese, dark chocolate or enjoyed fireside, this expressive 2019 LBV is an elegant, memorable treat.

About the producer

Barão de Vilar is a distinguished Port house rooted in the van Zeller family's fourteen-generation connection to the Douro Valley, formalised as a modern estate in 1996. Their celebrated hand-painted Tawny Ports — spanning 10, 20, 30, and 40 years of ageing — are prized for their artisan presentation and extraordinary complexity. Sourced from the family's estates in São João da Pesqueira and Torre de Moncorvo, they represent benchmark aged Port.
