Maturation in highly active STR (Shaved, Toasted, and Re-charred) ex-red wine barriques contributes to its rich and bold profile, while premium first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels add depth. As the whisky develops, notes of dark chocolate and dried fruits emerge, leading to a smooth, velvety mouthfeel.
