An approachable and easy-drinking young Barbera. Floral-tinged red berry aromas lead into plums and ripe strawberries on the palate, with a fresh and vibrant finish. Silky tannins and bright acidity keep it effortlessly balanced and food-friendly.

Method & Production

The Barbera grapes are hand-harvested in the third week of September. After crushing and de-stemming, the must undergoes fermentation and maceration in stainless steel tanks for around six days at a controlled 23°C, using native yeast. Malolactic fermentation follows immediately, softening the wine’s acidity. It then rests in stainless steel for four months before bottling, with a further three months in bottle before release, preserving its pure, fruit-driven character.

This lively Barbera is a natural match for rich, savoury dishes. Enjoy it alongside Bagna Càuda, Piedmont’s beloved dipping dish made with garlic, anchovies, and olive oil. It also pairs beautifully with tomato-based pastas, charcuterie, and aged cheeses. Serve slightly cool at around 16°C to enhance its bright fruit and refreshing acidity.
