The limited release Inkará Merlot grapes were carefully handpicked and selected from terroir specific vineyards to produce a premium quality wine. The grapes were picked at optimum ripeness to ensure soft round tannins and subtle ripe black fruit on the palate.
Hints of plums with soft tones of black berries. Round and full mouth-feel showing plums and sweet berries with silky texture and velvet character. Made to be enjoyed now or within 5 years.
Superb with red meat, game or springbok fillet.
The grapes were whole berry fermented and cold soaked. 100% Wood matured for 18 months. A combination of 2nd and 3rd fill, French & American oak barrels for added complexity.
