Tasting Notes

Juniper takes the helm in this gin, with a ridiculous amount used to deliver big on flavour and aroma—it literally shouts juniper from the bottle. The juniper is steeped for 16 hours in high ABV spirit, and more juniper is added to the boiler before distillation, alongside nine other botanicals. The still’s vapour basket is packed with as much juniper as it will hold, ensuring an intense aromatic experience. On the nose, Retribution Gin reveals enticing notes of juniper and refreshing citrus. The palate offers a harmonious balance of flavours, with hints of spice and herbal undertones that create a complex yet smooth drinking experience. When chilled or diluted, the gin may appear cloudy due to dissolved botanical oils, a phenomenon known as louching, showcasing the depth of flavour packed into each bottle.

Artisan Craftsmanship

Crafted with precision, Retribution Gin embodies the artistry of gin-making. Each distillation run produces approximately 35 x 70cl bottles, and two runs are combined and matured for four weeks before bottling, yielding 70 bottles of gin per batch release.
