Tasting Notes

The nose bursts with intense aromas of citrus fruits, nectarines, and honeysuckle, enticing you for a taste. On the palate, the wine showcases vibrant acidity with ripe flavours of fleshy white peach, lime, and a subtle saline note on the finish. Notably, 40% of the lot undergoes skin maceration for 24 hours, imparting an excellent, rich texture to the body.

Perfect Serve

Serve this delightful Alvarinho chilled at around 8-10°C. It pairs exceptionally well with white fish, seafood paella, grilled fish tacos, calamari, and feta-based salads, making it an ideal choice for warm summer days or elegant dinners.

Artisan Craftsmanship

Crafted from hand-selected grapes grown in the hot Amarante sub-region, which boasts a higher altitude than the coastline of the Minho region, Semente Alvarinho reflects the unique terroir of its origin. This area is protected from the Atlantic's influence, featuring high average altitudes and warmer temperatures, which favour the development of late-maturing varieties. The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and gently pressed, followed by fermentation at controlled temperatures to preserve the wine's bright fruit character and aromatic profile.
