From the sun-drenched yet cool slopes of Marlborough’s Wairau Valley, The Spring Chardonnay is a shining example of precision winemaking. Crafted from old Mendoza clone vines, it’s a vibrant, layered white with depth, texture and a distinct sense of place.

Tasting Notes

Aromas of ripe peach, toasted hazelnut and flinty minerality open the show, leading into flavours of lemon curd, nectarine and a hint of crème brûlée. There’s a lovely creaminess to the mid-palate, balanced by bright acidity and a long, savoury finish.

Perfect Serve

Ideal with roast chicken, pan-seared scallops or a buttery mushroom risotto. This Chardonnay also pairs beautifully with soft cheeses or simply sipped on its own when you want something a little special.

Artisan Craftsmanship

Sourced from 31-year-old Mendoza vines, the grapes are naturally fermented and aged for 14 months on lees in seasoned French oak barriques and cuves. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, the wine rests for an additional 16 months before release, resulting in complexity and poise without heaviness.
