The Everyday Italian White, Done Properly
Marco Polo Pinot Grigio comes from the Venezie DOC in north east Italy, the heartland of the grape. It pours a pale straw yellow, with delicate aromas of white flowers and yellow fruit such as pear and ripe apple. The palate is dry and crisp, with a clean line of acidity running from start to finish. It is fresh, unfussy and exactly what a good Pinot Grigio should be.
The wine takes its name from the Venetian traveller, a fitting nod for a bottle from the same corner of Italy. Chill it well and pour it with grilled white fish, prawn linguine, or a simple spring risotto. It is also a reliable choice for a party where you need one white that everyone will happily drink.

Where This Wine Comes From
The Venezie DOC covers north east Italy, the corner of the country that grows more Pinot Grigio than anywhere else on earth. Cool air spilling off the Alps keeps the fruit fresh, which is exactly what this style needs.
