About this case

The whites
- Arthur Metz Cuvée Michel Léon Pinot Gris, Alsace: ripe pear and honeyed spice, rich and rounded.
- Albert Bichot Mâcon-Villages Blanc, Burgundy: Chardonnay with citrus and a subtle, chalky minerality.
- Guy Saget Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie, Loire: bone dry with green apple and a saline tang, made for shellfish.
The reds
- Côtes du Rhône, Commandeur St. Michel, Rhône: summer berries and garrigue spice.
- Château Pont de Pierre, Lussac Saint-Émilion, Bordeaux: plum and blackcurrant with soft, polished tannins.
- Domaine de la Baume Merlot, Languedoc: ripe plum and soft chocolate, rounded and easy-drinking.
