About this wine
A Taste of Heritage
Percheron Old Vine Cinsault is crafted from mostly 40-year-old bush vines sourced from hidden corners of the Cape — vines that produce naturally restricted yields with exceptional depth and character. Bright and expressive on the nose, it opens with fresh pomegranate, red berries and subtle savoury notes. On the palate, medium-bodied with juicy crunchy cherry fruit and delicate gamey undertones.
Harvested by hand at optimal phenolic ripeness, fermented using délestage to maximise fruitiness with minimal tannin extraction. Delicious slightly chilled alongside Asian duck, pork belly, stir-fried beef or carpaccio of tuna, beef or game.
