About this wine

Pure Italian Refreshment

Arcano Pinot Grigio is a bright, elegant white from Sicily — an island better known for its bold reds but increasingly celebrated for producing crisp, expressive whites with a genuine sense of place. Made from carefully selected Pinot Grigio grapes grown in the island's warm, sun-filled vineyards, this is a wine that's light, lively and effortlessly enjoyable from the very first sip.

The nose is delicate and inviting, with aromas of ripe pear, green apple, white peach and a gentle hint of citrus blossom. On the palate it's refreshingly crisp with a light body, vibrant natural acidity and a clean, dry finish with just a whisper of almonds — a subtle nod to its Sicilian origins.

At 10.5% ABV, Arcano is particularly sessionable and ideal for longer occasions. It pairs beautifully with grilled fish, king prawns, bruschetta, light pasta, antipasti plates, and Caprese salad. Just as happy as a standalone aperitif alongside olives and charcuterie.

About the producer

Casa Vinicola Botter was founded in 1928 when Carlo Botter and his wife Maria began selling wine in the village of Fossalta di Piave, near Venice. Now in its third generation under Luca, Annalisa, and Alessandro Botter, the family company has grown into one of Italy's largest wine exporters, with a capacity of 23.5 million litres and a range spanning every major Italian appellation. Their own labels — including Cortestrada — capture each region's character with reliability and craft.
