Produced by Bodegas Estraunza in the heart of Rioja Alavesa, Solar de Estraunza Tempranillo is a classic expression of Spain's most celebrated red grape. Made from 100% Tempranillo, it balances ripe fruit with subtle oak influence, creating an approachable Rioja that's equally suited to weeknight dinners and special occasions.
Deep cherry red in colour, the wine opens with inviting aromas of ripe black cherry, plum and wild berries, complemented by notes of vanilla, gentle spice and toasted oak. The palate is smooth and medium-bodied, with silky tannins, vibrant fruit and a long, elegant finish that reflects the character of Rioja Alavesa. Serve at 16 to 18°C alongside grilled lamb, roast beef, charcuterie, tapas, chorizo, mature Manchego cheese and tomato-based pasta dishes.
