About this wine

Camins del Priorat is a vibrant and seductive red crafted by the legendary Alvaro Palacios from a blend of Garnacha, Samso (Carignan), Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Sourced from steep, slate-rich vineyards and produced with a focus on biodynamic farming and minimal intervention, it is full of ripe blackberries, dark cherries and wild raspberries, unfolding with layers of violets, Mediterranean herbs and a hint of smoky minerality. The palate is lush and juicy, with silky tannins and refreshing acidity balancing deep fruit flavours, leading to a long, polished finish with notes of spice and cacao.

Serve slightly below room temperature to enhance its depth and freshness. Pairs wonderfully with grilled lamb, rich tapas, aged Manchego, slow-cooked beef or jamon iberico.

About the producer

Álvaro Palacios is one of Spain's most celebrated winemakers, credited with reviving the Priorat wine region in the late 1980s. Based in Gratallops, his estate produces some of Spain's most sought-after wines — including the legendary L'Ermita — alongside the accessible and acclaimed Camins del Priorat. Palacios has also revitalised the Bierzo appellation with his nephew through Descendientes de J. Palacios.
