Good to know.

Do I need to bring a physical ticket?

No, there's nothing to print or show. Just give us the name the booking was made under and we'll welcome you in.

What about driving and parking?

On-site parking at Sidcot Arts Centre. Leaving your car overnight? Use the pre-school car park, not the main one. The main car park is locked overnight and you won't be able to get your car out in the morning!

Is there a running order for the evening?

Doors open at 6pm for tasting, with the two masterclasses at 7pm and 8pm. Tables stay open until close at 9pm, so there's plenty of time to work your way round.

How does the tasting actually work?

Wander the tables at your own pace, taste as much or as little as you like, and chat to the producers and importers who made and brought the wines. There's no set schedule outside the two masterclasses.

Is there food?

We keep the focus on the wine: bread and palate-cleansers only, so eat before you arrive.

I don't know much about wine. Is this still for me?

Absolutely. It's a relaxed, no-pressure evening. Ask the people on each table anything you like; they're there to talk you through what's in the glass and point you toward what you'll enjoy.

If I order wine on the night, when will it arrive?

Delivery is free locally on orders over £79, and free nationally over £125. Orders usually arrive 1–2 weeks after the event, though it's often much sooner.

Can I get my Christmas wine sorted at the fair?

Yes, and it's the ideal time to do it. Taste before you buy, order on the night, and we'll deliver it in the weeks after the fair, well ahead of the Christmas rush.

Can I bring a friend along without a ticket?

Everyone attending needs their own ticket.

Is there an age restriction?

Yes, 18+ only, and if you're lucky enough to still look under 25, bring photo ID, as we may ask to see it on the door.
