Why we chose it

“Languedoc Viognier — floral, peachy, generous. The grape is at home in the south and Domaine de la Baume do it well at this price. Good with spiced fish or roast chicken.”

About this wine

Domaine de la Baume Viognier is a beautifully aromatic white from the Languedoc. Bursting with ripe peach, apricot, and honeysuckle, it delivers a rich yet refreshing palate that combines luscious fruit with a gentle, rounded texture. Its vibrant character makes it both elegant and easy to enjoy.

Produced in southern France, this Viognier reflects the warmth of the Mediterranean climate while retaining freshness and finesse. It's a versatile wine, pairing wonderfully with spicy Asian dishes, grilled seafood, or creamy cheeses, yet equally delightful on its own.

About the producer

Domaine de la Baume is a historic estate near Servian in Languedoc, with roots dating to 1880 when the Prat family rebuilt its vineyards after the phylloxera crisis. Owned by the Helfrich family since 2003, the 176-hectare estate is planted to an impressive range of international varieties including Merlot, Viognier, and Sauvignon Blanc, crafted to express the generosity of the Mediterranean climate with elegance and freshness.
