James May’s Wonderfully Unusual Asian Parsnip Gin

James Gin Asian Parsnip Gin is the debut gin from James May, best known from Top Gear and The Grand Tour. Inspired by both Britain and James May’s love of global flavours, this distinctive gin combines the earthy character of parsnip with warming Asian spices to create something genuinely different.

In James May’s own words: “I had an idea for a gin that is very British, using parsnip — which reminds me of dampness — combined with the spicy sparkle of the Asian spices found in Indian food.” The result is a warming and gently savoury gin layered with parsnip, ginger, cardamom, rosemary and grains of paradise. Smooth, complex and unmistakably original, it works beautifully with premium tonic, fresh ginger or in creative cocktails where its savoury spice can shine.
