Los Poetas, meaning 'The Poets' in Spanish, is an Argentine wine brand drawing its name and inspiration from the creative spirit of Mendoza's winemaking tradition. Mendoza sits at the foot of the Andes in western Argentina, where high altitude, low rainfall and intense sunshine combine to produce conditions uniquely suited to Malbec, Argentina's signature red grape and the country's most internationally celebrated variety.
The 2024 expression is full-bodied and generous, with intense dark plum, blackberry and a characteristic note of violet that defines great Mendoza Malbec. The palate is velvety and well-structured with ripe tannins and a long, satisfying finish. A natural companion for Argentine steak, grilled lamb, slow-braised beef and robust hard cheeses.
