Why we chose it

“Grappa frightens people off, usually because they once had a bad one. Italy's oldest distillery makes a clean, floral version — small glass, lightly chilled, after dinner.”

About this wine

Nardini Grappa Bianca is a celebrated expression from Italy's oldest distillery, founded in 1779 by Bortolo Nardini in Bassano del Grappa, in the heart of Veneto. For over two centuries, the Nardini family has been defined by passion, dedication and a deep connection to their local territory, creating spirits that have become symbols of Italian craftsmanship and heritage.

Produced using carefully selected grape pomace sourced from the vineyards surrounding Bassano del Grappa, this authentic grappa continues a proud distilling tradition rooted in artisanal methods. Crystal clear in appearance, it offers a full and complex nose with delicate floral aromas, fresh grape notes and gentle warmth. The palate is youthful, balanced and clean, with a refined smoothness that makes it ideal served neat after dinner, lightly chilled or as a stylish digestif.

About the producer

Distilleria Nardini was founded in 1779 by Bortolo Nardini at the foot of the old bridge in Bassano del Grappa, and is reckoned Italy's first distillery. Seven generations of the family have run it since, introducing the steam still in 1860 and transforming the quality of grappa in the process. It remains the largest grappa producer in Italy.
