Why we chose it

“Penfolds making Champagne raised eyebrows here too, then we tasted it. Wild strawberry and pink grapefruit with a genuinely dry finish — a rose for drinking, not just looking at.”

About this wine

Penfolds Rosé Brut is a lively and expressive non-vintage Champagne, made in collaboration with Champagne Thiénot from a blend of 45% Pinot Noir, 35% Pinot Meunier and 25% Chardonnay. It brings together French finesse and the bold character of Australia's most iconic wine producer.

Crafted in Champagne using traditional methods, this rosé delights with delicate notes of wild strawberry, pink grapefruit and a subtle brioche complexity. Fine bubbles and a crisp, dry finish make it a superb choice for celebration or refined aperitifs.

About the producer

Penfolds is one of Australia's most iconic wine producers, founded in 1844 by Dr Christopher Rawson Penfold and his wife Mary, who planted the first vines at Magill Estate near Adelaide. For over 180 years, the winery has pursued a philosophy of excellence and multi-regional blending, producing wines from the Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, and beyond. Penfolds is best known for its Grange, Australia's most celebrated wine, and its enduring Bin series.
