About this wine
Rioja at Its Most Patient
Gran Reserva is the top rung of the Rioja ladder, given years in oak and bottle before it is released. Senorial Gran Reserva is a ruby red of medium intensity, clean and bright in the glass. The nose is delicate and elegant, with balsamic notes and well integrated toasted hints from its time in barrel. On the palate it is fine and soft, with balanced structure and a velvety texture.
A traditional blend of Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo, aged the slow way so the fruit and oak have grown into one another. Serve it with roast lamb, grilled meats, or a board of aged Manchego. This is a bottle for a proper Sunday lunch, or a table full of people you like.

Where This Wine Comes From
Tempranillo-based reds with American and French oak ageing. Here Señorial grows the Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo behind this Gran Reserva. Rioja's character, bottled.
Tempranillo
Spain's leading red. Cherry, leather and vanilla with oak ageing, supported here by Graciano for perfume and Mazuelo for colour and grip.
Gran Reserva
The top tier of Rioja ageing, requiring at least two years in oak and three in bottle before release. Made only in the better vintages.
