Why we chose it

“Small-batch cider from Thatchers made to be sipped rather than sunk. Give it a proper glass rather than a pint pot and treat it like you would a dry white.”

About this wine

Part of Thatchers' limited-edition Cider Barn range, Three Counties is a small-batch cider crafted at Myrtle Farm in Somerset, celebrating apples grown across three West Country counties.

It's a true expression of regional cider-making heritage from a family that has been perfecting its craft for over a century, rich with ripe apple character and beautifully balanced. One for cider lovers to savour.

About the producer

Thatchers has made cider at Myrtle Farm in Sandford, North Somerset, since William Thatcher pressed his first apples there in 1904. Four generations have followed, with Martin Thatcher running the business since 1992 and the fifth generation now coming through. The orchards around the farm still supply the fruit, from Katy to the traditional bittersweet Redstreak.
