Why we chose it

“H. Blin Blanc de Noirs 2016 — 100% Pinot Noir from a single parcelle. Richer, fuller and more structured than the NV. A remarkable single-variety, single-vintage statement.”

About this wine

Champagne H. Blin Blanc de Noirs Sélection Parcellaire 2016 captures the essence of a single vineyard in Vincelles, revealing the full potential of Pinot Meunier in a truly distinctive form. This limited cuvée unfolds layers of baked apple and pear, toasted almond and delicate spice, supported by fine bubbles and a luxurious, lingering finish.

Crafted by the H. Blin growers' cooperative, pioneers in championing Pinot Meunier and sustainable viticulture, this Champagne is vinified and aged with precision to highlight both terroir and vintage character. A rare and expressive Champagne that rewards slow appreciation and fine cuisine alike.

About the producer

Champagne H. Blin is a grower cooperative founded in 1947 by Henri Blin alongside 28 fellow winegrowers in Vincelles, deep in the Vallée de la Marne. Today 120 growers tend 110 hectares of vines predominantly planted to Pinot Meunier, the variety that defines the Marne Valley's distinctive character. With 80% of plots certified sustainable or HVE and 10 hectares under organic farming, H. Blin is a model of responsible Champagne production, exporting half its 500,000 annual bottles worldwide.
