Why we chose it

“H. Blin L’Esprit Nature Petit Meslier is one of the rarest Champagne cuvees — a forgotten 18th-century grape, only a few hectares left. This is extraordinary, unlike any other Champagne.”

About this wine

A Rare Expression of Champagne Heritage

Crafted exclusively from the seldom-seen Petit Meslier grape, Champagne H. Blin L'Esprit Nature is a captivating expression of Champagne's natural diversity. This limited-production cuvée reveals bright citrus, crisp green apple and hints of white blossom, carried by a fine, persistent mousse. The palate is vibrant and delicately textured, balancing freshness with subtle autolytic depth from extended lees ageing.

Produced by the cooperative of H. Blin in Vincelles, in the heart of the Marne Valley, this Champagne celebrates sustainable viticulture and the preservation of heritage varietals. L'Esprit Nature reflects both innovation and respect for tradition — a refined, characterful Champagne ideal for those seeking something genuinely distinctive.

About the producer

Champagne H. Blin is a grower cooperative founded in 1947 by Henri Blin alongside 28 fellow winegrowers in Vincelles, deep in the Vallée de la Marne. Today 120 growers tend 110 hectares of vines predominantly planted to Pinot Meunier, the variety that defines the Marne Valley's distinctive character. With 80% of plots certified sustainable or HVE and 10 hectares under organic farming, H. Blin is a model of responsible Champagne production, exporting half its 500,000 annual bottles worldwide.
