What to expect
Temperance House is a beautifully restored house set in the North Somerset countryside at Wraxall, and on Thursday 12th November it opens its doors for an evening of wine and festive cheer. Guests are welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine before taking their seats for a tutored tasting led by The Wine Shop, exploring a range chosen with Christmas celebrations and seasonal food in mind.
Across the evening we will share the stories behind the wines, talk through the styles and suggest food pairings to make planning the festive table a good deal easier, with plenty of time for questions along the way. With twenty places only, this is an intimate and informal evening in lovely surroundings, and a chance to meet neighbours and fellow wine lovers while discovering something new. Whether you are a seasoned enthusiast or simply enjoy a good glass of wine, you will be made very welcome.
