Why we chose it“Château Musar is unlike anything else in the world. Lebanese red, Cabernet-Cinsault-Carignan, aged for decades — earthy, exotic, unforgettable. If you’ve never tried it, you should.”

About this wine
A Timeless Expression of Lebanon
Château Musar 2017 is a stunning example of Lebanon's winemaking heritage, with a deep, rich profile that unveils layers of dark fruit — blackberries and plums — alongside complex notes of spice, dried herbs, and a touch of leather. The palate is full-bodied and structured, with firm tannins that lend the wine an elegant finish. The well-balanced acidity ensures it will continue to evolve beautifully with age.
Crafted in the Bekaa Valley from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault, and Grenache, this wine reflects the mastery of winemaker Serge Hochar. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, it undergoes minimal intervention to preserve the purity of its terroir and the complexity of its flavours.
Serve at 16–18°C and pair with robust dishes such as grilled lamb, roast beef, or a hearty Mediterranean mezze. It also pairs wonderfully with aged cheeses or rich stews.
