About the producer

Bodegas Luzón is one of the leading producers in Jumilla, southeast Spain, a region dominated by the powerful, deeply-coloured Monastrell grape. The winery works with some of the region's oldest vines — many pre-phylloxera and ungrafted — planted in the poor limestone soils that stress the vines into producing concentrated, complex fruit.
