Why we chose it

“French Pinot Noir at this price is good value — light, cherry-fresh, easy. Not Burgundy, but a solid everyday Pinot that works well slightly chilled with a cheese board.”

About this wine

Cuvée Dissenay Pinot Noir is a captivating red with delicate aromas of ripe cherries, wild strawberries, and a hint of earthy spice. On the palate, it reveals soft tannins and a velvety texture, complemented by notes of redcurrants and a whisper of vanilla. The finish is smooth and refined, leaving a lasting impression of elegance.

Serve slightly chilled at 14–16°C to highlight its freshness and complexity. This Pinot Noir is a perfect match for roasted poultry, mushroom risotto, or a creamy brie. It's also a versatile choice for charcuterie boards or cosy evenings with friends.

Produced with precision and care, Cuvée Dissenay showcases the timeless allure of Pinot Noir. Each bottle reflects the dedication of its winemakers, who bring out the best of the varietal while staying true to traditional techniques.

About the producer

Their range includes the Gavelot old-vine Carignan from ancient ungrafted vines and the Cuvee Dissenay Pinot Noir, both showcasing the diversity and value of Languedoc production.
