Why we chose it“Delheim Wild Ferment Chenin Blanc is one of the most interesting whites in the shop. Wild yeasts give extra texture and complexity. Honeyed, stone fruit and a long mineral finish.”

About this wine
Delheim Chenin Blanc Wild Ferment presents a vibrant pale straw colour with hints of green. The nose offers a delightful bouquet of barley, apricots, peaches and tropical fruits, all underpinned by well-balanced acidity and subtle oak. On the palate, citrus notes emerge and linger beautifully on the aftertaste, creating a refreshing and memorable experience.
Crafted from the oldest Chenin Blanc block on the farm, hand-harvested in the early morning and fermented without commercial yeast in barrels and concrete egg-shaped tanks. The wine matures on its fine lees for nine months before an additional year of bottle maturation adds depth and complexity. Serve chilled alongside seafood, fresh salads or creamy pasta.
