About this wine
La Loupe is a very approachable, fruit-driven red made from Grenache grown in the Mediterranean vineyards of the Languedoc. Produced by Les Vignobles Foncalieu, an HVE-certified union of cooperative wineries established in 1967, the heat and drying winds keep yields low for concentrated fruit. The nose has full impact with a complex mix of juicy ripe red fruits typical of the Languedoc, alongside hints of pepper and herbal scents. On the palate, cherry, strawberry and redcurrant continue in a smooth, round and mouth-filling texture.
Enjoy as an aperitif or as a great accompaniment with simple meat dishes such as pizzas, pasta or chicken salads.
