About this wine

Colori d'Italia is Famiglia Pasqua's celebration of Italy's great native grape varieties, each wine made to express the character of its region and variety without pretension. This Sangiovese — the grape behind Chianti and Brunello — delivers the classic Italian red experience in a relaxed, approachable style that rewards pasta nights and mid-week suppers equally well.

Medium-bodied and well-structured, the wine pours a bright ruby red with an inviting nose of sour cherry, dried herbs and a touch of earth. The palate follows through with cherry fruit, savoury spice and subtle tannin, leading to a clean, lively finish. Serve at room temperature with lamb ragù, pizza or hard Italian cheeses.

About the producer

Founded in Verona in 1925, Pasqua Vigneti e Cantine is one of Italy’s most celebrated family-owned wineries. Four generations of the Pasqua family have shaped a distinctive Veneto style — expressive, fruit-forward wines rooted in the region’s great appellations: Amarone, Valpolicella and Soave. Today the estate spans 250 hectares and exports to over 60 countries, with a growing reputation for innovative rosé and natural wine projects.
