About this wine

Now in its 16th edition, the 2025 Tío Pepe En Rama is drawn from 92 exceptional casks within the soleras of Macharnudo and Carrascal, selected each spring in González Byass's time-honoured tradition by winemaker Antonio Flores and his daughter Silvia. The 2025 release benefits from a thick, healthy veil of flor, flourishing after a mild winter and humid autumn.

Unfiltered and unclarified, this vibrant Fino presents as pale gold with a naturally hazy appearance. The nose features an expressive mix of chalk, iodine, toasted almonds, and lemon zest, with fresh notes of sea breeze and chamomile. The palate is fresh, bone-dry, and intensely saline, with complex flavours of dried fruit and a hint of fresh sourdough, culminating in a long, elegant finish. Perfect for pairing with food, celebrating a special occasion, or simply enjoying the authentic taste of Sherry in its most unrestrained form.

About the producer

Founded in 1835 by Manuel María González in Jerez de la Frontera, González Byass is one of Spain's most celebrated wine and spirit producers. The house is best known for Tío Pepe, the world's most famous Fino Sherry — a perfectly dry, delicate, and refreshing wine aged under flor yeast that has become the benchmark expression of the style. Now in the sixth generation of the González family, the bodega remains privately owned and a proud guardian of Jerez's magnificent fortified wine heritage.
