Why we chose it“Slovenian white blend from the Zavec Brothers — floral, textured and genuinely interesting. Central European wine is underexplored and this is a lovely reason to start.”

About this wine
The Vipava Valley sits in Slovenia's Primorska region, close to the Italian border, where Mediterranean warmth meets the influence of the powerful Burja wind. This unique combination creates wines of vivid freshness and genuine distinction. Zavec Brothers craft their wines here with minimal intervention, and Kugl, their white blend, showcases the valley's character beautifully: bone dry, with aromas of citrus, white peach and a stony, mineral undertone that speaks of the valley's ancient soils.
Serve well chilled as an aperitif or alongside light seafood, white fish or soft cheeses. A brilliant choice for those who enjoy exploring wines from beyond the mainstream European appellations.
