What to expect
Looking for a Christmas gift that is not another bottle or jumper? Give an evening to look forward to in the new year. Join us at The Wine Shop in Winscombe for a relaxed, guided whisky tasting through a hand-picked line-up, taking in different regions and styles, from gentle and honeyed through to rich, smoky and warming.
Your host for the evening is Diana from The Wine Shop, who will talk through how each whisky is made, what to look for in the glass and how a drop of water can change things. Seasoned whisky enthusiasts will find plenty to compare and discuss, while newcomers will find a friendly, unhurried place to start. Places are limited, so we would suggest booking early, particularly for gifts.
