Produced at the renowned Babylonstoren estate, Nebukadnesar stands as a masterful expression of the Cape Winelands. This flagship Bordeaux-style blend combines 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 16% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot, and 5% Malbec — each varietal crafted and matured separately in new French oak for 23 months before blending.

Deep ruby in colour, it opens with fragrant notes of violets, thyme, and cigar box, followed by layers of blackcurrant, plum, and dark red fruits. The palate is structured and multi-layered, with fine-grained tannins and an elegant, lingering finish. Recognised for its consistent excellence, Nebukadnesar embodies Babylonstoren's dedication to sustainability, craftsmanship, and timeless quality.

Babylonstoren is one of South Africa's oldest wine farms, with a history stretching back to 1692 on the slopes of Simonsberg in Stellenbosch.
