About this wine

A vivid, unoaked Cabernet Franc from San Martín in Mendoza, made by Bodegas Viña Alta using organic practices including concrete fermentation tanks and an extended 18-day maceration for real depth of character. The nose is lifted and herbaceous, with notes of bay leaf, raspberry and redcurrant, and the palate is juicy and medium-bodied with supple tannins and an earthy, savoury finish. Refreshingly different for Argentina.
