Why we chose it

“Chablis is the most distinctive Chardonnay in the world — no oak, pure flint and mineral. This is the bottle I recommend when someone says they want proper white Burgundy.”

About this wine

A Taste of Chablis Elegance

Chablis, L'Onciale captivates with its elegant pale straw colour and inviting aromas of green apple, yellow plums, and citrus. The palate showcases refreshing acidity alongside a pleasing medium-bodied weight of fruit, culminating in a subtle nutty finish that lingers beautifully.

Sourced from the prestigious Chablis region of France, this wine reflects the unique terroir that defines its character. The cool climate and limestone-rich soils contribute to the wine's vibrant acidity and intricate flavour profile, showcasing the pure essence of Chardonnay.

It pairs exquisitely with seafood dishes such as oysters and grilled fish, as well as creamy risottos. Serve chilled to appreciate its crispness and elevate your dining experience.

About the producer

La Chablisienne is Chablis' leading cooperative, founded in 1923 and now uniting around 300 growers who collectively account for a quarter of all Chablis production. Based in the town of Chablis itself, the cooperative produces wines from Petit Chablis to Grand Cru, expressing the appellation's signature flinty minerality and crisp Chardonnay purity with exceptional consistency. Their L'Onciale bottling is a benchmark expression of the appellation's cool-climate style, perfect with oysters and seafood.
