About this wine

Deutz Brut Champagne is a remarkable expression of the rich heritage and impeccable craftsmanship of the Deutz house, founded in 1838. Crafted from a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, the Brut Classic represents the distinctive house style of elegance and finesse that has made Deutz one of the most respected Champagne producers.

It features an intense golden hue with fine effervescence, signifying long maturation on the lees. The nose is vibrant and inviting, displaying notes of hawthorn and white flowers followed by aromas of toast, marzipan, and ripe pears. On the palate, it is full-bodied and elegant, showcasing the freshness of Chardonnay and the richness of Pinot Noir, culminating in a fruity finish of lasting finesse and depth.

Pairs beautifully with fresh seafood such as oysters or lobster, light poultry dishes, salads, creamy cheeses, and fruit tarts. An outstanding choice for celebrations and special occasions.

About the producer

Founded in 1838 by William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann in the Grand Cru village of Aÿ, Deutz is one of Champagne's most respected and reliably excellent grande marque houses. The house sources fruit from an exceptional network of Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards to produce Champagnes of remarkable precision, elegance, and finesse — characterised by Chardonnay freshness balanced against the structure of Pinot Noir from Aÿ.

Our new favourite

An excellent champagne which is both fresh and rich. A great alternative to the usual brands, it has become a new favourite for us.
