About this wine

Domaine Bousquet Malbec Organic is a consistently impressive wine that embodies the elegance and complexity of Argentina's renowned Malbec grape. Grown at an altitude of 1,200 metres in Tupungato — one of Mendoza's highest points — this wine showcases the unique characteristics of its high-altitude terroir, with a balance of ripe fruit, soft tannins, and vibrant freshness.

Deep ruby in colour, the nose offers an aromatic blend of blackberry jam, black plum, and a subtle hint of spice. The palate is gloriously ripe, with layers of blackberry, damson, and cassis, complemented by a floral note of violet. Soft tannins provide a smooth, velvety texture, while the lively freshness lends the wine a delightful edge and satisfying, balanced finish.

Made from 100% organic Malbec grapes, hand-harvested and carefully selected, then aged for four months in bottle before release. Perfect when paired with grilled steak, roast meats, or strong cheeses such as aged cheddar and blue cheese.

About the producer

Domaine Bousquet is a pioneering organic and biodynamic winery in the Gualtallary area of Mendoza's Uco Valley, established in 1997 by French winemaker Jean Bousquet after he discovered the potential of these high-altitude terroirs during a 1990 visit to Argentina. At over 1,200 metres above sea level, cool temperatures and intense sunshine create ideal conditions for elegant wines with real complexity. Domaine Bousquet became the fourth winery globally to achieve Regenerative Organic Certification.
