Domaine Gautheron is situated in the village of Fleys, to the east of the town of Chablis, where seven generations of the family have been crafting traditional, wood-free Chablis for over a century. The estate spans 25 hectares and is a sustainable producer, committed to allowing the chalk and limestone soils to speak for themselves without the distraction of oak.
The 1er Cru Les Fourneaux is made from old Chardonnay vines grown in this prestigious vineyard site directly above the village. Fresh, floral aromas of apple blossom are complemented by a creamy texture and a distinctive mineral complexity that speaks eloquently of Chablis's unique chalk soils.
