Why we chose it

“Passimento Rosso — the same dried-grape technique gives this extra richness and body. Dark fruit, smooth, with a slightly velvety texture. Brilliant with pizza or grilled red meat.”

About this wine

Famiglia Pasqua Passimento Rosso is crafted in the Veneto using the appassimento method, where the grapes are partially dried to concentrate their flavours, resulting in a deep, intense red with a distinctive character. On the nose it reveals rich aromas of ripe dark berries, black cherry, plum, and a hint of dried fig, with subtle touches of spice and tobacco adding complexity.

The palate is full-bodied and velvety, with lush dark fruit flavours complemented by sweet spice, vanilla, and a light, warming oak influence. The finish is smooth and persistent, with soft tannins that leave a lasting impression. Serve at room temperature alongside grilled steaks, braised meats, rich pasta dishes, or aged cheeses.

About the producer

Today the estate spans 250 hectares and exports to over 60 countries, with a growing reputation for innovative rosé and natural wine projects.
