About this wine

A Smooth and Rich Bulgarian Red Blend

FRIENDSIPs Mavrud & Merlot 2024 brings together the bold character of Bulgaria's native Mavrud grape with the soft, approachable charm of Merlot. Packed with ripe blackberry, plum and dark cherry flavours, this easy-drinking red offers smooth tannins and a rounded finish that makes it perfect for relaxed evenings and casual dinners alike.

The Mavrud grape adds subtle spice and depth to the blend, while Merlot keeps the wine supple and fruit-forward. Versatile and approachable, this is an excellent choice for grilled meats, pizza nights, rich pasta dishes or sharing with friends over a cheeseboard.
