About this wine

Georgiev & Milkov Mixtape is an exciting red blend made from an all-Bulgarian lineup of indigenous grapes, Pamid, Rubin and Mavrud, grown in the ancient Thracian Valley. Made in tiny quantities of around 120 bottles each year, the grapes are carefully selected from soils known for their rich history and ideal viticultural climate. Spontaneous barrel fermentation allows the flavours to evolve naturally, and eight months of barrel ageing creates a beautifully balanced, complex profile.

The nose is vibrant, showcasing fresh berry aromas of raspberry, strawberry and cherry alongside subtle herbal nuances and a touch of spice. Medium-bodied on the palate, with beautifully integrated tannins and crisp acidity carrying red berry, citrus and a hint of floral sweetness through to a clean, refreshing finish. Serve at 14 to 16°C with charcuterie, aged cheeses, grilled meats or Mediterranean-inspired dishes.
