Why we chose it

“Valdobbiadene Blanc de Blancs — a little more refined than standard Prosecco, with green apple and biscuity notes. Good aperitif at a gentle price.”

About this wine

Italian Sparkle with Sophisticated Charm

La Fornarina Blanc de Blancs Millesimato brings refined Italian craftsmanship to your glass. Made entirely from white grapes, it dazzles with delicate aromas of green apple, lemon zest and white blossom, leading to a crisp, refreshing palate and a fine, persistent mousse. Perfect as an apéritif or alongside light dishes, it offers both elegance and value in every pour.

Whether raising a glass at a celebration or adding a touch of sparkle to an ordinary evening, this Millesimato is a timeless reminder of why Italian fizz remains a favourite among wine lovers.

About the producer

Casa Vinicola Botter was founded in 1928 when Carlo Botter and his wife Maria began selling wine in the village of Fossalta di Piave, near Venice. Now in its third generation under Luca, Annalisa, and Alessandro Botter, the family company has grown into one of Italy's largest wine exporters, with a capacity of 23.5 million litres and a range spanning every major Italian appellation. Their own labels — including Cortestrada — capture each region's character with reliability and craft.
