About this wine

Minuty Prestige Rosé shows pearly pale pink reflections and a nose that opens up gradually, moving from white-fleshed fruit towards more exotic notes as it sits in the glass. The palate is fresh, saline and mineral, with an elegant, airy finish. It is a Grenache-led blend with Syrah, Rolle and Cinsault, made without malolactic fermentation so the wine keeps all of its tension and liveliness.

Created more than 25 years ago by Jean-Etienne and François Matton, the Prestige cuvée comes from a rigorous selection of grapes from the finest terroirs of Provence, complemented by plots from the Château Minuty estate. Its saline finish makes it a natural partner for oysters, clams and a full seafood platter, as well as ceviche, sashimi or simply grilled fish with a drizzle of olive oil. It also suits Italian dishes such as linguine alle vongole or burrata with basil, and is best served chilled, between 8 and 12°C.

About the producer

Château Minuty is one of the most celebrated estates in Provence, renowned for elegant, pale rosé wines from the Presqu'île de Saint-Tropez. A family estate run by the Matton family for generations, Minuty's hillside vineyards benefit from exceptional sun exposure and cooling sea breezes from the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. Their M de Minuty rosé is one of the region's most recognisable labels, prized for freshness, delicacy and quintessential Provençal character.
