Why we chose it

“Lugana is the hidden gem of Lake Garda — Turbiana grape, mineral, peachy, with real texture. Villa Borghetti’s version is one of my favourite Italian whites in the shop.”

About this wine

An Elegant White from the Shores of Lake Garda

Pasqua Villa Borghetti Lugana is a beautifully expressive white from the Lugana DOC, where the vineyards nestle on the southern shores of Lake Garda. Made from Turbiana (also known as Trebbiano di Lugana), it offers a distinctive character all of its own: floral and mineral, with aromas of white peach, citrus blossom and almonds.

On the palate, it's elegant and textured, with a clean, refreshing acidity and a wonderfully long, saline finish. A superb companion for grilled fish, risotto, fresh pasta or enjoyed as a refined aperitivo.

About the producer

Founded in Verona in 1925, Pasqua Vigneti e Cantine is one of Italy’s most celebrated family-owned wineries. Four generations of the Pasqua family have shaped a distinctive Veneto style — expressive, fruit-forward wines rooted in the region’s great appellations: Amarone, Valpolicella and Soave. Today the estate spans 250 hectares and exports to over 60 countries, with a growing reputation for innovative rosé and natural wine projects.
